There is something very pleasing about a folder that explains how dumplings are made, even if the method is not strictly usable at home. Two small comic strips run across the top and bottom, one showing how a nyanko gyoza comes together, which mostly involves a cat lying down on a wrapper and being gently folded up, and one for shumai that ends at a steamer basket with someone wondering whether it counts as a sauna. In between there is a basket of shumai cats, a plate of gyoza, a bowl of soup and a teapot painted with peach buns, all in soft blue and white with a border of little cat faces. Keeps homework, sheet music or anything else flat and findable in a bag. Please note, all text is in Japanese.
