Made in Brittany from solid beech, this little sloop is the larger of the two Maison Tirot boats, rigged with a cotton sail on a removable mast and painted in grey green. It floats properly, rights itself when it goes over, and is built to last well past the bath years. Maison Tirot selects the wood themselves, standing in forests near their workshop, which is the kind of care that turns a bath toy into something a child will remember.
