Most sticker books ask to be used up, and this one makes that genuinely hard to do. Over two hundred of Hokusai's prints have been reproduced in full color and cut loose from the page, the Great Wave and Red Fuji and the rest of the Thirty-Six Views among them, along with the waterfall series, fishing boats and whaling scenes from One Thousand Pictures of the Ocean, hawks and roosters and sparrows, a dragon circling the summit of Fuji, sumo wrestlers, samurai, and the Great Daruma. They sit on black pages that make the colors stand up, some trimmed square, some die cut to the shape of a fan or a bird in flight, and each one is captioned with its title, its series in both English and romanized Japanese, and its approximate date, so the book reads as a small catalog as much as a sheet of stickers.  Good for journals, cards, gifts, and other personal belongings.
